Concentrate the field

A Halbach array arranges magnets so the field reinforces on one side and cancels on the other. 90% of the magnetic flux where you want it. Near-zero where you don't.

LoNC optimizes the rotation angles and spacing of each magnet in the array for maximum asymmetry ratio in milliseconds.

Pancake geometry

Traditional motors are cylinders. Axial flux motors are discs. Shorter magnetic path means less copper, less iron, less weight. Same power in half the space.

Combined with Halbach arrays, we achieve 97%+ efficiency and 2× the power density of conventional motors.

Zero contact

The shaft floats in a magnetic field. No ball bearings. No lubrication. No friction. No wear. Speeds impossible with mechanical bearings.

Active magnetic bearings use sensors and electromagnets to maintain perfect centering at any speed, any load.

Heat pumps without compressors

Certain materials heat up in a magnetic field and cool down when removed. No refrigerants. No compressors. No noise. Just magnets and metal.

COP of 10 versus 3 for vapor compression. That's 3× the cooling per watt of input power.

Flywheel Energy Storage
